Gualala River to the Ocean

We hiked up the Gualala River to the ocean. When we arrived, we found a wonderful collection of drift wood that flows up the river during the winter. In the summer, the water recedes and the driftwood collects on the beach. Previous visitors to the beach have built little make shift shacks from the wood. Joey had a wonderful time exploring and attempting to build his own hut.
